Let Go of Everything You Know
At some point, you have to stop worrying about shit, and just roll your sweaty dice that is life, and trust your fucking story. We are not Gods. We are souls with cell phones. There will be pain. There will be confusion. And when the dust settles, you will have one thing and one thing only and that is your truth. So hold on to it, with both hands, like they’re bull horns. Because that will always take you where you’re supposed to be, and through that journey, who you’re supposed to be.
Your logic don’t know shit. You know from the last time. That leads you down a road with sneaker wrapped telephone wires and a picket fence with very sharp splinters. Happy doesn’t live in your brain. It lives at the intersection of love, passion, purpose, and how something or someone makes you feel. And those things can change like your taste in cereal. And that’s okay. Because it’s that constant turning that creates a rich life. But only if you lean into it. Only then, can you walk through fire without getting burned.
What if life was not about destinations but how much nectar your transitions produce? And of course, that is a choice. It’s where the road forks. Would we still live like rocks or finally be like Bruce Lee said, water.
Let go of everything you know, including your past.
And start with one thing and one thing only.
