Catalyst Collisions Week 1: Encouraged

Catalyst Collisions Week 1: Encouraged

It took months for me to commit to the Catalyst Intensive. Who am I to think I know enough about life to coach others? Could I thrive in a community that focuses on “wellness” and “self-help”?

The New Yorker in me raised an eyebrow at how “LA” the whole pursuit sounded. But with time… I followed the whim of a very tiny (seemingly irrational) voice in my gut that was curious. I was absolutely terrified, but for me the Catalyst Intensive and community has immediately created a unique space in my life where I feel ENCOURAGED.

It’s only been one week and I feel encouraged to dive in and express myself in an authentic, transparent and vulnerable way. I feel encouraged to practice compassion and awareness while listening, engaging and connecting with strangers. I am encouraged to use new techniques to honestly reflect upon my life and evaluate where there is room for change. I am definitely encouraged to grow into the best version of myself.

All of this leads me to feel like my life is expanding ever so slightly into something… bigger. I’m ready for more.
